Graston Technique

Graston Technique is a form of soft tissue mobilization performed with specially designed stainless steel instruments.  These instruments enhance the ability of the clinician to detect and treat areas of soft tissue lesions, scar tissue and restrictions. Once an area of abnormal tissue is identified these instruments can be used to treat these tissues and restore full pain free movement.

Treatment using Graston Technique is usually prescribed at 1 to 2 sessions per week for 5 to 6 weeks for full recovery of function. Our Doctor of Physical Therapy utilizes this technique with other techniques to speed the treatment process up for a quicker recovery.
